Sea trawler "Komsomolets of Belarus"

The ship has been named "Komsomolets of Belarus" in honour of the 40-anniversary of patronage of Komsomol above Navy fleet in 1962. The trawler concerns to a class a mine trawler of the ships used for detection and destruction of sea mines, put by the opponent. For this purpose it are equipped with various means and the trawls, capable to find out and neutralize a mine.

The ship has made 14 distant campaigns, has passed tens thousand miles, participated in various naval doctrines and in the doctrine of allied fleet. By the ship many honours pupils of fighting and political preparation are prepared. The majority of seamen - experts of 1-st both 2-nd classes and sportsmen - arresters. The Komsomol organization of the ship is awarded for successes in communistic education of youth and in socialist competition by a memorable pendant of a Central Committee of VLKSM and repeatedly awarded with Certificates of honour of Central Committee LKSM of Belarus. Between members of the Komsomol, youth of Belarus and crew of the ship are established close patronage of communication. Members of the Komsomol - seamen took part in work of XXVI congress of Komsomol of Belarus. Among structure of the ship it is a lot of representatives of Komsomol of Belarus. The majority overwhelming them - honours pupils of fighting and political preparation, high quality experts, provisional soldiers.
