The big landing ship "50 years of patronage VLKSM"
In honour of the 50-anniversary of patronage of Lenin Komsomol above Navy fleet
for high parameters in fighting and political preparation to the ship the name
of "50 years of patronage of VLKSM" has been appropriated. The landing
ship serves for transportation by the sea and landing to coast of the opponent
of a sea landing in structure of divisions of sea infantry and a land forces.
The ship repeatedly took part in long navigation in the Far East seas, at Silent
and Indian oceans, has passed tens thousand miles. For successful performance
of учебно-fighting tasks on maneuvers "Ocean" all staff of the ship
is awarded with a medal " For military valour in commemoration of the 100-anniversary
from V.I.Lenin's birthday ". In crew the majority of staff - honours pupils
of fighting and political preparation and experts of 1-st and 2-nd classes. Since
1974 the ship carries a rank "the excellent ship". Under permits of
the patron Komsomol organizations by the ship there pass military service many
members of the Komsomol who adequately carry out the military duty to the Native
land. In honour of the 30-anniversary of the Victory of Soviet people above fascist
Germany for successes in socialist competition and military - patriotic education
of youth the Komsomol organization of the ship is awarded with a pendant of a
Central Committee of VLKSM, visited in space by the spaceship "Union - 9".
